GranitLife attended and sponsored prizes at the Hueco Rock Rodeo this year. The days climbing was spectacular, with great performances found in all categories. The weather was cooperative, with a slightly cool day, and a windy night. The company was exquisite. The event was a blast. The climbs and the climbers were impressive. Particularly impressive was the show in the mutant category, where double digits were used as warm ups. The after party included great burgers and a rousing awards ceremony. It was quite windy , but the party continued on into the wee hours. As always the bonfire was enormous. If you have never attended a Rock Rodeo, you should put it on your road tripping calendar for 2010. Look for GranitLife to return with a bigger presence in 2010.
